Catholic Charities of West Tennessee Elects New Board Officers for 2014

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Dec. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Catholic Charities of West Tennessee (CCWTN) is pleased to annouce that new officers have been elected to their Board of Directors for 2014.

Dr. John Smarrelli, Jr., President of Christian Brothers University, has been elected to the posistion of Board Chair.  Dr. Smarrelli previously served as the Vice Chair in 2013 and as the Secretary in 2012.  He joined the Board in 2011.  Mrs. Anne Marie Kadien, an active community volunteer, has been elected to the position of Vice Chair.  Mrs. Kadien served as the Secretary in 2013.  She joined the Board in 2011.  Mr. Allie Bond, a human resources executive with International Paper, has been elected Secretary.  Mr. Bond joined the Board in 2012.

Commenting on the Board election, Michael D. Allen, President / CEO of Catholic Charities of West Tennessee said, “I am so very grateful to each of these individuals for their ongoing service to our Board. John, Anne Marie and Allie have each distinguished themselves in their work with our agency and we look forward to a successful 2014 together.”
