The Autobarn Subaru of Countryside Celebrates the Holidays with the ‘Share the Love’ Event

Dec. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- The Autobarn Subaru of Countryside is participating in Subaru’s sixth annual “Share the Love” event (http://www.theautobarnsubaru.com/the-subaru-share-the-love-event-at-the-autobarn-subaru-of-countryside/) this holiday season. From now until January 2, 2014, the automaker will donate $250 toward a participating charity for every new Subaru model sold or leased.

The customer can choose which organization they would like the donation to be sent to. This year’s charities include the Meals on Wheels Association of America, the ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, the National Park Foundation, and Teach for America.

For the first time, customers are able to select their organization while they are at the dealership. By using the Subaru Digital Touch Screen and iPad app, consumers can look at the profiles of the participating charities to help with their decision.

The Autobarn Subaru of Countryside carries the complete lineup of new Subaru models including the 2014 Subaru Forester. This model was recently chosen as the Motor Trend 2014 SUV of the Year.

The latest Forester was completely redesigned for 2014, offering better efficiency, improved power, and even more cargo volume all for an affordable price. To be named Motor Trend’s SUV of the Year, the Forester had to be up to standards in areas such as safety, value, advancement in design, and performance of intended function.

The base model 2014 Forester comes with a 2.5L SUBARU BOXER 4-cylinder engine that helps earn EPA fuel economy estimates of up to 32 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg in the city.
