The Rock Church Christmas Family Experience, A Sky Valley Tradition for Over 25 Years

MONROE, Wash. - Dec. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The Christmas Family Experience at The Rock Church (TRC) is a 1-hour service celebrating the true reason for the holiday: the birth of Jesus Christ and is a “must attend” Christmas event every year. A church known for their intimate atmosphere and “big church” quality, The Rock Church uses creativity, excellence and love to create a memorable family experience. From the snow fall to the live music, candle lighting and the Christmas Story dramatically told by Pastor Jeff Knight, the services rival top professional stage productions while creating an intimate feel. The result is a feeling that brings families back to TRC year after year.

“I can remember attending my very first candle lighting Christmas service as a young boy. The representation of Christ’s love flooding the world in that simple illustration still makes my heart leap for joy and reminds me how amazingly special Christmas is. That’s why it’s been a tradition that is repeated at The Rock Church every year since 1984. I want others to experience that same heart-skipping, joy-filled moment and be filled with His presence as we celebrate His birth. Special moments always happen at The Rock Church’s Christmas Family Experience and this year includes never-before-done elements sure to excite the child in everyone. Children are encouraged to attend with their parents for one incredible family friendly time together at any of the following services:

-- Sunday, December 22^nd at 9:30 and 11:30am

-- Monday, December 23^rd at 7:00pm Featuring the Santa Train**
** The Santa Train opens at 5:30pm and people are encouraged to come early, connect with others and enjoy the Hot Cocoa bar.

-- Tuesday, Christmas Eve at 6:00pm
Every child in attendance will receive a free gift from Pastors Jeff and Melinda (while supplies last).

The entire TRC Team looks forward to welcoming you to TRC. First time guests, who make themselves known to the parking attendants, will guided to a special parking area near the entrance. Volunteers will be standing by to assist you. Childcare and our normal age appropriate activities for students through 12 grade are not available during our CFE services as children are encouraged to attend with their parents.
