Texas Trust Donates $5,000 to Toys for Tots

MANSFIELD, Texas - Dec. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Toys for Tots is $5,000 richer today after receiving a check from Texas Trust Credit Union. Amber Danford, senior vice president  of marketing at Texas Trust, presented the donation during the Mansfield Independent School District's second annual toy drive benefiting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation.

This is Texas Trust's second year supporting the event, which was broadcast live on the local Fox affiliate during its Wednesday evening newscasts.

Employees from Texas Trust were on hand throughout the toy drive to manage the reindeer during Santa's visit and help children prepare "magic reindeer food" to ensure the reindeer were in top condition to take Santa to his next stop.

"Toys for Tots brings cheer, joy, and hope to children who might not otherwise receive a gift on Christmas Day," said Jim Minge, president of Texas Trust Credit Union. "We are thankful we are able to support such a worthy cause."
