Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort and House of Blues Present Warren Miller Movie Benefit on Jan. 2

LAS VEGAS - Dec. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (http://www.skilasvegas.com/winter/index.html) announces that Warren Miller Entertainment’s® latest film Ticket to Ride (http://vimeo.com/71989338) will be screened at the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Thursday, Jan. 2. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the film starts at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids age 12 and under. A limited number of military tickets will be available for $15. Proceeds benefit the Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Volunteer Mountain Patrol, a non-profit chapter of the National Ski Patrol that provides first responder and emergency services to LVSSR guests who are injured as a result of a snow sports incident.  Tickets are available at the House of Blues box office, any Ticketmaster location or online at www.ticketmaster.com (http://bit.ly/1e6t96o).

All ticketholders receive a complimentary lift ticket to Brian Head Resort that’s located in Southern Utah. Ticket prices also include a chance to win prizes such as lift tickets and a season pass to LVSSR.  Seating is limited and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A VIP viewing lounge that accommodates 50 guests is also available for $2,250; the price includes one beverage per guest.

Warren Miller Entertainment’sTicket To Ride, hosted by Jonny Moseley, takes filmgoers on an exhilarating voyage to the top of the steepest peaks and to the depths of the freshest powder of Iceland’s Troll Peninsula, the fjords of Greenland, the Alaskan Tordirllos, Montana’s Big Sky country and more.  The film includes an impressive line-up of athletes including World Cup and Olympic athletes like Seth Westcott, Ted Ligety, Gretchen Bleiler, Josh Bibby, Tyler Ceccanti, legendary ski mountaineer Chris Davenport and freeskiers Coly West and Sean Pettit.
