Boston, MA - Local artist, Debby Krim will be showcasing two of her oil paintings at the Attleboro Arts Museum, beginning on December 14th, 2013 and ending on January 31st, 2014. These paintings are part of her toy series and are entitled “In the Bag” and “Just Don’t Tell your Mother”.
Debby’s work will be showcased as part of the Attleboro Arts Museum’s Members’ Exhibition, to which other local artists will take part in and whose work will be judged by guest jurors. An opening awards reception will take place on December 14th, 2-4 pm. Entry to the event is free and open to the public.
About Debby Krim
Debby has been an artist since the 1970's. A Rhode Island native, she headed to Boston in 1976 to study at Boston University's School of Fine Arts. Boston has remained her home ever since. She is active member of the art community, and has her studio in the SoWa Arts District.
Debby develops her vision through a variety of media, including photography and oil painting. Her photographs and paintings go beyond simple visual representation. Her South End studio is now the incubator for her artistic explorations. She recently completed work on a television show called, "Naked Art: Inside the Artist's Studio" which was awarded BNN's "Spotlight Award. Her oil paintings were part of the Contemporary Still Life Show at the Copley Society where she is a "Copley Artist".
Her award winning photography has been featured in several Galleries and Museums, Hollywood films and Television shows. Her photo, "White Chambers" was in Sandra Bullock's "The Proposal".
