Guyson International Awarded ISO 18001

SKIPTON, U.K. - Dec. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Leading industrial finishing equipment manufacturer Guyson International Ltd, based in Skipton, North Yorkshire is delighted to announce that it has achieved yet another milestone in this its 75 year of business by being awarded the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 for ‘Occupational Health and Safety Management’ by the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Paul Bilbie, Guyson International Ltd Executive Manufacturing Director for the Skipton site, stated. “This 18001 certification highlights the Finishing Equipment Division’s management and staff’s full commitment to maintaining the very highest standards in Health, Safety and Welfare.  This, together with our existing Quality Management Programme, demonstrates to customers, suppliers and employees alike that Guyson recognises that its employees are its most important asset, whether working on site in Skipton or out at customers’ premises.”

This latest BSI certification adds to the existing ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for ‘quality management systems’ which Guyson International has held for many years already.
