This partnership with St. Jude’s is especially special to Melvin because it gives him the opportunity to provide hope to those suffering with cancer and it serves as a fitting tribute to his late mother, Carmelita Miller, who passed in 2009 from lung cancer. “To give the gift of oxygen is simply amazing and just something that no one ever thinks about…” states Melvin.

ABOUT THE M3 LOUNGE
The M3 Lounge is a unique live music event concept and concert series created by Melvin M. Miller (M3) to serve as an extension of the Meet the Mentors program within the M3 Music Foundation. This premier event features M3 and special musical guests who perform individual selections from their own project and then collaborate in a way designed to stimulate the senses! Essentially, it’s three concerts in one.
ABOUT THE M3 MUSIC FOUNDATION
The M3 Music Foundation (M3M), a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit, was created by educator, musician and recording artist Melvin M. Miller (M3) to bridge the gap between our young musicians and the education required to achieve a successful musical career. Through motivation, mentoring and musicianship we provide student musicians with resources and programs designed to educate and create positive growth while providing the developmental tools to possibly become a future music legend.

St. Jude has the world’s best survival rates for the most aggressive childhood cancers, and treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since we opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent in the next decade. St. Jude freely shares the breakthroughs we make, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
