Smile for a Lifetime Chapter in San Francisco Gives the Gift of a Smile this Holiday Season

SAN FRANCISCO - Dec. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- The San Francisco Chapter of Smile for a Lifetime, founded by Image Orthodontics, will award six children the gift of orthodontic treatment in 2014.

Smile for a Lifetime is a charitable non-profit organization that provides free orthodontic care to children with financial barriers and orthodontic need.  The organization serves hundreds of patients each and every year through local chapters all across the United States.  Each chapter is dedicated to serving the local community and has its own Board of Directors who chooses patients to be sponsored by the Foundation.

Dr. Yan Kalika of Image Orthodontics founded both the San Francisco and Sacramento Chapters of Smile for a Lifetime at the beginning of 2013 and is committed to awarding at least six children in each community with orthodontic scholarships each and every year. Image Orthodontics shares in and is committed to the Smile for a Lifetime mission “to create self-confidence, inspire hope, and change the lives of children in our communities in a dramatic way.”

The San Francisco Chapter of Smile for a Lifetime will choose 6 children to sponsor in 2014. Image Orthodontics will be accepting applications at any of their office locations through March 15, 2014.
