Follow on Google News | eSchoolView's Student Scholarship Program in Full SwingeSchoolView is offering student scholarships to any senior in high school interested in web design or development. Entries are due February 2014.
By: eSchoolView Eight scholarships are being offered this year through a Web Design & Development contest—totaling $15,000. This contest is open to any senior in high school across the entire nation. The awards will be given in the following increments: One - $5,000 Two - $2,500 Three - $1,000 This Web Design & Development contest was created for any student interested in pursuing web development, graphic design or other arts. View detailed requirements here (http://www.eschoolview.com/ Students entering this contest are required to develop a homepage and one interior page for an educational website that does not yet exist on the web. The site should be related to a school class or club and should reflect collaborative effort between a “pseudo client” and the student as the designer. Additionally, students must establish a mock budget and keep a log of meetings with their “client.” An essay or video explaining the need for the scholarship and a project description on how their submission stands out over the rest is also required. One letter of recommendation must be provided as well.
