Healthy foods, nutritious foods, real foods, tasty foods, and ... easy-to-cook—
If you didn’t know before, you should know now that eating healthy food leaves you well-nourished. Choosing from a balanced variety of in-season, real foods, can only increase your chances of living a long, energetic and vibrant life. Aren’t you worth it? Aren’t your children worth it? Isn’t your family worth it?
In response to LoneStartNow's employee workplace wellness participant's request for healthy recipes, this cookbook answers the question--you can create tasty, healthy and quick meals. All recipes are under 400 calories per serving and take 30 minutes or less to prepare.
Do you know that it doesn’t have to take much more of your time to prepare a healthy meal than it does to throw a frozen pizza in the oven and wait for it to cook? And, given the many benefits of a healthy home-cooked meal, wouldn’t you rather spend your time in pursuit of health now, rather than coping with one or more preventable chronic illnesses later? Wouldn’t you want this for your children?
These recipes range from elegant to easy to comfort foods to...well, you name it, there’s something for everyone here, for every occasion.
Let us help you boost your health. Engage your family in home-cooked meals. Increase your energy. Feel good about what you are feeding your body. Isn’t this food for thought?

"I’ve had a lot of fun putting this cookbook together, testing the recipes, making improvements and creating what I like to think of as a contribution to a greater well-being. Through your choices and actions, I hope this information and these recipes will help you define your own personally satisfying, nutritional journey. A thoughtful diet is essential to good health. So, here’s to your pursuit of food for fuel, food for taste, food for health and food for thought!”
