West Michigan Writers Group Publishes Book about Transformation

MATTAWAN, Mich. - Dec. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- West Michigan Word Weavers released their first book, The Transformation Project: A West Michigan Word Weavers Anthology. The Transformation Project is a collection of memoirs, personal essays, and short stories published by West Michigan Word Weavers, highlighting the work of eighteen of its members, covering twenty-two readings.

“We’re just a bunch of people from West Michigan who love words, who have something to say, and who have taken the time to examine some of the greater and lesser moments of transformation in our own lives,” said Anna Moore Bradfield, president of Word Weavers West Michigan. “Transformation is inevitable. Sally Stap, one of the group’s members and a contributor to the anthology, reflected on her own journey of transformation and on writing her personal essay. “The Transformation Project was an opportunity to ponder, capture, and share insightful experiences. For me, starting with a blank page with only the word “Transformation” at the top, challenged me to dig into my life. I realized that motherhood not only transformed me but gave me insights into my relationship with God. I was honored to share reflections of how my life journey has been impacted through big and small moments by my children and God.”
