GRENADA, Miss. - Dec. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- The little town of Grenada never had it so good.  A team of filmmakers have undertaken the monumentous task of covering her history, her current events and her future potential in a series of short documentaries with the ultimate viewing destination to be a website called "Grenada Commons."

The team has interviewed historians, architects, real estate professionals and local liars, to name just a few.  They've covered swamps, crappie holes, the Spillway and foxhound filled forests.  They've ventured back in time to the days of the civil rights freedom movement, and further yet, to the days of the civil war.

Music afficienados will appreciate the clips of Grenada's own Motown Great, Funk Brother Eddie Willis, and Blues musician, Magic Slim.  And who can forget the fun to be had at the annual bluegrass "Pickin' at the Lake" event.

These filmmakers want to spread the word and spread the love that is to be had in the little town of Grenada.  They are raising funds for editing and archiving at the indiegogo crowdfunding site.  http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/grenada-film-project.  Search for Grenada and help out on the Grenada Film Project, if you can.  Watch for updates on Facebook at Grenada Film Project.
