The World’s Strongest Man talks heavy lifting with Guy Dawson.

Las Vegas, NV (December 9^th, 2013) – PR Connections radio is excited to announce this week’s heavy-lifting guest, Stan Efferding.  You might know him as Stan ‘Rhino’ Efferding or as “The World’s Strongest Man”.  PR Connections host, Guy Dawson, will be interviewing this multitalented gymasaurs and successful business owner, Wed December 11^th at 1:00 PM on KLAV 1230AM.

Efferding is most known for his power lifting abilities in the gym, but what many people might not realize is that he is also a heavy hitter when it comes to business.  Efferding has been working hard since his first job at 7-11 when he was 12.  He learned a strong work ethic fast, as he carried an array of jobs; delivering newspapers, flipping pizzas, working at a bakery, loading trucks for UPS, managing apartment complexes, working heavy construction, as well as being the vice president of a telecommunications company.  It was this determined work ethic that spurred Efferding into venturing out and starting his own telephone company.

It is this type of business savvy and experience that Dawson is looking forward to discussing. “Stan really fits the description of the perfect guest for PR Connections,” Dawson said. “His background as a bodybuilder is fascinating and he has had a lot of success as a businessman too. He is really the whole package and our listeners are in for a real treat.”

Efferding was born in Portland, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon where he studied Psychology.  Efferding has been competing in bodybuilding since 1988 and his list of achievements are about as momentous as he is.  One of his most noteworthy accomplishments is his entering in powerlifting in ’96 where he totaled over 2,000 lbs. and deadlifted 782 lbs. raw in the Pepsi Region 8 Challenge.

After taking a break from competition in 1997, Efferding came back to bodybuilding at the age of 38 stronger then ever.  On May 15^th, 2011 Efferding broke two world records at the SPF California State Championships, squatting 854 lbs. and a three lift total of 2,226,6 lbs.  Efferding is currently the number one ranked raw powerlifter in America and he shows no signs of slowing down.

Efferding currently lives in Henderson, NV with his family.  He has a busy year approaching as he is expecting a son in Feb. and will be introducing a sports drink, “The Cooler”, and “MyPro Nutrition”, a dietary product line.
