Sports Coach and Non-Fiction Author Works With Local Kids

Aaron Williams, Author of the newly released Southern Mayhem and baseball coach at Dacula Athletic Association, is helping to prevent obesity in kids by supporting young athletes with advanced sports training. 20% of the 2014 profits from his book are being donated to up and coming sports training company U48 Fitness, that trains local kids in fitness and nutrition.

Aaron Williams has also committed to funding a full Baseball scholarship at the Atlanta Baseball Academy if Southern Mayhem sells more than 10,000 copies.

Readers of his books have expressed great enthusiasm for the project and have set up an external website to raise more money for sports training.

“I couldn’t put Southern Mayhem down when I started reading it and I’m so pleased Aaron is challenging child obecity – He’s making such a difference.” - Sara Sparks, member of Mountain View Sports Board

Aaron Williams became fascinated with obesity in kids after studying an advanced degree in sports and recreational management in college and working charities with local ABA basketball team Atlanta Vision in 2006. His book Southern Mayhem is a non- fictional story based on his experiences as an athlete.
