Cleveland Cremation and Operation Toy Soldier,

A National Holiday Toy Drive

For Children of Local Deployed and Non-Deployed Soldiers

Cleveland, OH—This holiday season, Cleveland Cremation, 15784 Pearl Road, will be participating in Operation Toy Soldier, a toy drive for the children of local active and non-active military members.

All the toys donated from Now through December 21^st will be donated to the USO Cleveland Office where they will distribute the toys locally to children and their families. When we contacted the USO Office to explain to them what we were doing for them, they welcomed our help with open arms.  Also, Cleveland Cremation is working with the State of Ohio Youth Coordinator and the Department of Defense to help even more military families and their children in the Cleveland area.  We will be working closely with these offices for the next few weeks in order to ensure our local military families and their children have a great Christmas.

Operation Toy Soldier is a national toy drive, but all toys will stay local and go to all 5 branches of service. We need our communities help to make this toy drive for military children a success.

“Because our area has such a large number of military families, we are happy to participate in this holiday toy drive,” explained Crystal Jardine, President of Cleveland Cremation. “We are collecting toys for families where the father or mother might actually be deployed overseas during Christmas or have recently just returned home. This is just one small way we can thank our military personnel for all they do for our country.”

Currently, we have 12 states participating in this toy drive with over 35 drop off location.  We anticipate this number to triple next year.
