Hilton Hollis brings ‘Moroccan Journey’ to Mississippi”

JACKSON, Miss. - Dec. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- New York - 2013 - Hilton Hollis comes back home to Mississippi with his new Spring 2014 collection “Moroccan Journey.”  Hilton spent a week traveling the gorgeous lands of Morocco, where he found layers of inspiration for his 2014 pieces.  The depth of the Moroccan culture is seen throughout the collection from the architecture, pottery, colors, to the tastes of the land.  Bright, vibrant colors are offset by deep, rich earthy tones characteristic of the landscape and design of the country.

Pieces in the line are highlighted by elegant and intricate embroidery on lurex tulle, creating a beautiful image for a double layer dress.  Textured prints on specialized fabric and unique trim take the traditional tunic and create a silhouette for the modern woman.  Silk scarves will make an appearance in the line with images that represent the culture of Morocco Hilton has personally selected to be printed on the fabric.  As always, Hilton has created stunning dresses and evening gowns that are enhanced by technical seaming reminiscent of the architecture of Moroccan buildings and mosaics.

Hilton is showing select pieces from the line from December 4-6 in Oxford and Jackson.  He is kicking off his 2014 Spring Collection on December 4 in his home state, at the Oxford University Club, during a private fashion show for members.  Immediately following he will be making an appearance at MW2, where he will have the entire collection on display.  December 5^th and 6^th Hilton will move to Maison Weiss in Jackson to continue his premier of his “Moroccan Journey.”
