Mark S. Robinson of Kirkland Albrecht & Fredrickson (KAF) reappointed to NASBA CPE Committee

BRAINTREE, Mass. - Dec. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Kirkland Albrecht & Frederickson, LLC (KAF) one of the leading CPA firms in the Boston area, is proud to announce that founding partner Mark S. Robinson, CPA/ABV of Milton has been reappointed as a member of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) CPE Committee.

As such, Robinson will collaborate with other members of the Committee to oversee the CPE Working Group and its standards for Continuing Professional Education programs.

Robinson has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting and is the partner in charge of KAF’s Business Valuation services.

In December of 2006, Robinson was appointed by then Governor Romney to serve the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a member of the Commonwealth’s Board of Public Accountancy.  He was reappointed to a five year term on the Board in September of 2010 by Governor Patrick.

Robinson received his BSBA Magna Cum Laude with a major in accounting from Suffolk University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Robinson currently holds securities Series 6 and 66 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and has also achieved a CPA/ABV designation as accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
