Urban Juice Design & Print Flyers For 100 Apprenticeships Campaign

GRIMSBY, U.K. - Dec. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Newark & Sherwood District Council recently launched an exciting new 100 Apprenticeships Campaign to urge businesses to take on new apprentices.

They asked Lincolnshire's leading creative design studio, Urban Juice to design and print some flyers and they also ended up with a new brand and logo!

Newark & Sherwood District Council's strap line for the campaign was 'Grow Your Own', which they wanted as the main header for the flyers. The design was developed around the 'Grow' part of the strap line and the graphic design team tried to link it to nature.

The icons each represent all the different areas of apprenticeships and were placed in the tree amongst the leaves to create the idea of 'Growing Your Own Apprentice.'

The 100 Apprenticeships Campaign heading on the back of the flyer was designed just for the header, but Newark & Sherwood District Council liked it so much that they decided that they wanted this to be the front logo for their entire campaign.

Urban Juice think that urging businesses to employ apprentices is a fantastic idea, as they have recently taken on their own apprentice and they know and understand all the benefits of 'Growing Your Own'.

They thought, who better to do the job than their very own apprentice.

When Newark & Sherwood District Council found out that their apprentice was designing the flyers they were absolutely overjoyed. They liked the idea of it so much that they wanted to put her name on the flyer, stating that she designed it.

Newark & Sherwood District Council were so pleased with their encounter with Urban Juice that they sent multiple emails to their company director and manager about how happy they were with their experience and how they were looking forward to working with the Urban Juice graphic design team again.
