All Signs Point to Leadership Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Dec. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Since 1982, Leadership Asheville has been developing, connecting and mobilizing citizens through intensive programs and events focusing on community orientation and leadership development. The organization is located on UNC Asheville’s campus as part of the University Advancement Office. Over the years, Leadership Asheville has established close relationships with special individuals and business in the area.

Early in 2013, former program director Barbara Brill approached Signarama about producing new signs and materials to enhance Leadership Asheville’s marketing efforts. Ed and Arlene provided a cost effective strategy by truly understanding the organization’s needs and limitations.

"It was great to work with Signarama; we described what we were trying to accomplish and what our budget was and they provided us with a thoughtful solution. In fact their idea allowed us to reuse our signs, saving us money and reducing waste," explained Brian Turner, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Foundation and Corporate Relations at UNC Asheville.

The helpful folks at Signarama have proven to be dedicated and hardworking; we have loved working with them.  Program Manager Susan Bean commented, "Working with Ed and Arlene has been such a pleasure! From our first meeting they have been consistently friendly, creative, and helpful - asking just the right questions to help us determine an effective signage strategy that will keep us looking professional and crisp through years of events!”

Signarama has worked closely with Leadership Asheville to design and produce displays for the Asheville Buzz Summer Breakfast Series, the Annual Luncheon, and the LA program. The displays they created added to the success of these Leadership Asheville events. “I would recommend Signarama to any business, not only for their excellent customer service, but also for the quality of their products," said Susan Bean.

The Asheville Buzz Summer Breakfast Series consists of three events that showcase the local leaders and organizations that are shaping the future of the region. The Buzz Series supports the growth of a forward-looking culture and commitment to inspired innovation. Leadership Asheville’s Annual Luncheon Celebration recognizes the hard work of the organization along with its many individual and corporate supporters throughout the year.

The LA Program is the primary component of the organization’s efforts. Each year, approximately 40 people are selected to participate in the 9-month leadership program. Every LA class includes an impressive group of current and emerging leaders from the community, and the class of 2014 is no exception. We are excited to have Dari Mullins, from Asheville Signarama, participating in this year’s program!
