The Ashtabula Clinic, a multi-specialty physician practice office, is affiliated with The Ashtabula County Medical Center (ACMC) – a hospital which also recently began training several of its coders with the course (http://www.libmaneducation.com/
Anatomy & Physiology for Coders prepares coders for the anatomy-intensive requirements of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding with a comprehensive and complete review of major body systems. The course’s thoroughness is balanced by online flexibility, and students can pace their work over a period of twelve weeks – which can be extended an additional three weeks.
The course also offers immediate benefits by increasing CPT and ICD-9 coding proficiency.
“With ICD-10 comes a whole new way of coding, and The Ashtabula Clinic – which values well-trained employees – wants to make sure that its coders are thoroughly prepared ahead of time,” said Wendy Snyder, Physician Billing Coordinator for The Ashtabula Clinic. “Libman Education’s online course gives our coders the ICD-10 training needed for the ICD-10 implementation. We appreciate how the course’s structure allows our coders to balance work and study.”
Throughout the course, Anatomy & Physiology for Coders engages students with videos, interactive educational games, full-color anatomical drawings, “Test Yourself” quizzes, and weekly assessments. Students are eligible for 24 AHIMA CEUs, 6 AAPC CEUs and 23 RCCB CEUs.
