RN Cancer Guides, LLC Introduces First Employee Cancer Assistance Program in the Nation

TAMPA, Fla. - Dec. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- RN Cancer Guides, LLC (RNCG), a leading provider of at-home cancer nursing advocacy services, announced today the launch of its innovative Employee Cancer Assistance Program (ECAP), bringing much needed support to employers and their employees.

According to the National Institute of Health, cancer costs are projected to reach at least $158 Billion by 2020. This can be attributed to more expensive medical procedures, new technologies and treatments. People are surviving cancer and are requiring more follow up physician visits, testing and medications. These costs are ever increasing for self-funded employers groups.

“RNCG’s ECAP offers self-funded employer groups custom solutions to manage the growing and unmanageable costs associated with cancer claims,” says Angelique Neumann, Director of ECAP. “The program also decreases the rate of absenteeism and disability costs, loss of productivity and potential loss of valued employees and their intellectual capital.”

RNCG’s ECAP also addresses the billions of dollars employers spend each year for employees that become the main caregivers. These costs include loss of productivity, absenteeism, disability, decreased in hours worked and potential job loss of a valued employee and their intellectual capital.

“For companies who strive to attract and retain the best talent, offering benefits such as the ECAP is critical,” says Susan Bernstein, Director of Human Resources at RNCG. “Top talent pays attention to what benefits potential employers offer and innovative programs like the ECAP will stand out among the competition.”
