Taj Palace Hotel Dubai Bags Six Awards At Dubai World Hospitality Championship 2013

AL BARSHA, UAE - Dec. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- The Taj Palace Hotel – Dubai registered remarkable success at the inaugural Dubai World Hospitality Championship 2013, the three-day event that featured competitions highlighting the cuisine, heritage and culture of the United Arab Emirates on a global platform.

The hospitality leader added another feather to its cap by winning six awards – one in each of the six categories the team had participated, including One Gold Medal, One Silver Medal, Three Silver Medals and One Certificate of Merit.

The culinary team, led by Chef Youssef Darwish, Executive Chef, Taj Palace Hotel Dubai, triumphed with the Gold Medal in the Bread Loaves and Showpiece category, won the Silver Medal in the Pastry Showpiece, and bagged the Bronze Medal in an Arabian Feast category.

The chefs continued their incredible performance in live cooking sessions as well. Their extraordinary performance won the team Bronze Medals in two categories –  Arabic Mezzeh –Live Cooking and Emirati Cuisine – Live Cooking.

Their amazing creation for the Five Course Gourmet Dinner Menu brought them the Certificate of Merit.
