Ascott Voted World's Leading Serviced Apartment Brand

The Ascott Limited wins 'World's Leading Serviced Apartments Brand' bringing total number of awards achieved in 2013 to 110 (more than 30% up on 2012's total of 79).

Dec. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- The Ascott Limited (Ascott) has been voted the ‘World’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand’ (World Travel Awards 2013) by travellers and travel industry professionals from across the globe.  This latest award tops the list of 110 honours bestowed upon Ascott this year alone.  In 2012, Ascott received 79 awards.

Over the past year, Ascott increased its global portfolio by 3,700 apartment units across 22 residences in key cities across China, India, Saudi Arabia and Thailand.  Plans to open 57 new properties in gateway cities in China, Germany, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, The Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam are in the pipeline bringing the company closer to its 40,000-accommodation-units-target by 2015.

Investments in global initiatives have, in addition to a significant refurbishment programme and complimentary Wifi across the portfolio, included new improved web/mobile booking features to offer advanced city-wide search functions and filters and provide a faster more efficient one-stop-shop reservation service.
