When you think of the holidays, there are some truly magical places to celebrate them in. Santa Fe is one of those places. The city of Santa Fe is all about the art. To celebrate the holidays and the art in Santa Fe, Beals & Co. and The Eldorado Hotel & Spa is proud to announce the ’12 Artists of Santa Fe’. Celebrating 12 artists over 12 days with 12 shows in a beautiful downtown hotel in an amazing city.

The line up of artists is what makes the event exceptional. Beals & Co. has assembled a dream team collective over these 12 days. The players include Upton Ethelbah, Frank Gonzales, Cody Brothers, David Santiago, Kiki Martinez, Michael Peralta, Jarrett West, Micqaela Jones, Tim Kenney, Amy Ringholz, Wayne Nez and Vanessa Wilde.

In addition to the large number of individual shows, a group show will be held on December 27th from 5pm - 7pm in The Gallery at The Eldorado Hotel & Spa where all the artists’ artworks will be showcased. “This is about bringing the artworks closer to the collector and providing a spectacular line up of artists during a magical season of celebration,” - states Beals & Co. owner, Bobby Beals.

Upton Ethelbah is a native sculptor that showcases stone and bronze works about his heritage. Frank Gonzales is a contemporary realist that paints sharp botanicals and birds in unique habitats. Cody Brothers is a native New Mexican photographer that uses traditional techniques including a pinhole camera. David Santiago is a young new contemporary figurative painter capturing the figure with unique washes on panel. Kiki Martinez is an acclaimed equine painter whose subjects are larger than life. Michael Peralta is a native New Mexican sculptor that presents the contemplative figure along with dancing subjects. Jarrett West is a native New Mexican ceramicist that uses high-fire techniques. Micqaela Jones is a native painter that creates works based on her heritage and founded on her family. Tim Kenney is a landscape painter that uses heavy oil paints to present his unique style. Amy Ringholz is an innovative wildlife painter that showcases her works with oils and inks and spray media. Wayne Nez is a local native jeweler that draws from his heritage but expounds beyond his culture into his own unique style. Vanessa Wilde is a new contemporary artist that paints the figure on paper, canvas and in mural format.
