LEICESTER, U.K. - Dec. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Following the recent launch, by the National Youth Agency, of the new membership body - the Institute for Youth Work - membership and not-for-profit website specialists NetXtra announces the launch of the organisation’s new website - http://www.iyw.org.uk.

In its first few weeks since launch, the new site has already contributed to growing their membership to well over 200 and, in doing so, has helped provide a voice for youth workers and support members to reach the highest professional standards.

With NetXtra also integrating the website to SagePay, new members can join the Institute and pay online. They will also receive email notifications prior to their membership expiring, with the facility to then renew it online too.

Led and funded by the National Youth Agency, the new website is aimed at youth workers at all levels - from volunteers through to those who are fully qualified. It also provides members with access to a wide range of resources to enhance their professional development, keep abreast of policy developments and debate their ideas using the site’s user forums. It also allows members to view and record their continuing professional development (CPD) and the time they have invested in training.

Maralyn Smith, Programme Manager at the National Youth Agency said, “We’re delighted with the launch of the Institute for Youth Work website. With new members joining every day, the website is uniting youth workers from across all sectors and is a key central hub of information for everyone. Not only does it enable us to advocate good practice, it also provides members with a great place to network or discuss areas of mutual interest and improves knowledge and skills.”
