About the Partners

Walter Luhrman was a founder and CEO of Ohio Precious Metals, the largest gold refinery in the United States.  He began refining precious metals in 1974.  He pioneered hydrometallurgical refining techniques and analytical procedures that became customary in the industry.

Marvin Luterman is the managing partner of PPM.  For more than 20 years, he was the chief operating officer at a major precious metals refinery, where he developed new markets for low grade, precious metal bearing scrap, and where he traded product throughout the United States, Europe, and Central America.  Mr. Luterman was responsible for adaptation and implementation of Federal Environmental Regulatory Standards ISO 14001.
