By: Nebraska Sustainable Agriculture Society Hosted by Nebraska Sustainable Agriculture Society, the all-star chef line-up includes Omaha chefs Clayton Chapman from The Grey Plume (http://www.thegreyplume.com/) According to Scott Willet, event committee chairman, farmer members from the Nebraska Sustainable Agriculture Society voted for the top chefs they believe best support and promote local farmers and food communities. “NSAS wants to showcase the important work these chefs are doing to create awareness of local farmers and food and how it weaves through our local economy,” Willet said. The evening’s theme, “Celebrating the Fabric of the Local Food Community” depicts a wonderful tapestry of the outcome when local chefs source from local growers, Willet continued. The event is a fundraiser for the Nebraska Sustainable Agriculture Society.
