World’s Strongest Man Sets Record with the Nissan Note | AutoCenters Nissan

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 3, 2013 - WOOD RIVER, ILL.— Nissan is familiar with setting records, and now the automaker has helped someone else set one.

Five-time winner of the World’s Strongest Man competition Zydrunas Savickas recently set a new Guiness World Record for the “Most Cars Pulled by One Man”—and those cars were Nissans. Savickas towed 12 new Nissan Notes at a world record attempt in Druskininkai, Lithuania. The Notes totaled an impressive 28,530 pounds, and were towed by Savickas for more than five meters.

"We at Nissan like setting records and are always aiming high,” said Taina Erkkilä, Communication Director of Nissan Nordic Europe. “Today we are delighted to have been able to help Zydrunas set another world record and to see so many people turn out to support him. It was a great way to mark the end of the Lithuanian COTY camp.”
