Something fun to do this weekend, near Palm Harbor-Clearwater

Are you looking for something different to do this weekend? How about stopping by the quaint little town of Dunedin, for the Dunedin Youth Guild’s 44th annual Holiday Tour of Homes. The event will be from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, December 7. This is the first year that the event will exclusively feature Dunedin homes, the change was made so that it made it easier for tourgoers to get around.

At the door of each residence, volunteers will be stationed to point out all the unique features of the homes. One of the homes this year will feature “green living designs”, a garden with a Caribbean vibe, a copper themed kitchen along with a newer home built in the vintage Craftman style.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20.00 and for $25.00 the day of the event at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic school (730 San Salvador Drive, Dunedin). They are also asking for donations of canned food items. There will be complimentary tea and finger sandwhiches for ticket holders from 11:00-4:00 at the school as well. No children under 12, are permitted on the tour and no cameras are allowed.

The holiday home tour is the major fundraiser for the Dunedin Youth Guild. They use the monies raised to support youth programs, playgrounds and scholarships.
