Spotlite Radio Presents Jim Flood

CHESHIRE, Conn. - Dec. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- On Monday, December 02, 2013 at 11 a.m. EST, Spotlite Radio is proud to have Jim Flood, owner of Bovano of Cheshire, as a guest on the show. Beginning in 1952, Bovano has become a well-established, family owned, artisan studio for 51 years.  Using an unusual process called glass enameling, which is made at high temperatures fusing glass to copper. They currently offer about 350 different sculptures which are primarily wall sculptures, which are nature oriented, of all different sizes!

Jim started at Bovano in 1964, where he works with his father and his son.  He has been privileged to work with many people who have been involved in their company and put their creativity into the company as well.  All of their designs are developed by listening to their customers.  Every artist sculpts to respond to what they are feeling about a particular subject and craft their product to represent them in the best ability to best fit your home.

Bovano has been privileged to be on the television show, “How it’s Made”, which shows the viewer how they make their artwork.  All of their artwork can take anywhere from an hour to two days depending on the size and design of the sculpture to make. These pieces are all handmade and are breathtaking!
