Teen cast of Up In Arms Comedy hosts a fundraiser benefiting Children’s Hospital LA and host

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Dec. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Get ready for an evening of teen comedy and music for a great cause!  The teen cast of Up In Arms Comedy in collaboration with KCAA, NBC News Radio, will host a fundraiser to benefit the Pediatric Spinal Deformity Endowment at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, a red carpet event at the Park La Brea Theater to be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013.  The event will be hosted by teen singing sensation and granddaughter of the legendary Barry White, Brittany Glodean, who will also be performing two of her original songs.  Other performers include rising EDM female duo Pink Diamonds, pop solo artist Anthuhny, Elijah Tomlinson, the cast of Up In Arms, Bailey Morgan and more.

The event will be attended by many celebrities who will walk the red carpet beginning at 5 p.m.  Some of the celebrities will include:

Up In Arms films its SNL style episodic teen comedy launched in 2011 by teen creator and head writer, Alex Dale.  The teenage mastermind behind the creation of Up In Arms was diagnosed with Scheuermann Kyphosis, a spinal deformity in August 2010 and had to wear a back brace for nine months, which did not cure him. In July 2011, David Skaggs, MD, Chief, Children’s Orthopaedic Center (http://www.chla.org/site/c.ipINKTOAJsG/b.3764315/k.595E/C...) at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, performed a spinal fusion on Alex to correct the curvature of his spine.

Up In Arms was created to raise funds for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Pediatric Spinal Deformity Endowment  - the endowment was established to research treatment methods for children suffering from Scheuermann’s Kyphosis.
