Justin Schuoler to Compose Music for Three Local Commercials Airing in Florida

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Dec. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Following an agreement made earlier this year, Ray Martinez and Smokers Vapor have collaborated for three local television commercials airing during the Christmas season. Although the commercials will air locally in the Tampa area and other central western parts of Florida, the videos promote the business across the internet on Ray’s YouTube channel. Currently, Ray declared through his Facebook page that he finished filming and editing, and soon to be released.

Earlier this summer, Ray Martinez produced and directed a short film, “A Darker Shade of Blue,” for the Action Film Challenge, along with Justin Schuoler as his composer. The film did not win any awards, but did catch the eyes of business owners and film critics as one of the highest potential films in the contest. Smokers Vapor assisted Ray in his pursuit of quitting smoking, thus helping his film by providing free e-cigarettes for him to use during the filming process. In return, their agreement was that Ray would later shoot commercials for the company to air locally.

“He loves filming, and he takes any opportunity he can,” stated Justin Schuoler in response to the agreement. “I think this is a great opportunity for him to continue doing what he loves. I'm just as grateful to write music for my first commercial.”

Television stations will show the commercials during the Christmas season, while Ray will work on others that air early next year. After a short interview with Ray, he said that these commercials meant something different to him for a unique reason and purpose.

“I smoked for 22 years and have not been able to quit. I tried numerous other e-cigs on the market, but none worked. This is the only one that has satisfied my ‘urge to smoke.’ I have not had a cigarette since June,” Ray said in response to what prompted him to shoot the commercials. He went on to say that he enjoyed the crew he worked with during the project.

Ray Martinez completed the filming in one weekend, while Justin Schuoler finalized his music the day after. The commercials are scheduled for release this upcoming week, though nothing has been declared official by any party. The business owners, who are thrilled for the new advertisements, have approved the final cuts. Ray’s team has sent the videos to the local television networks and will commit to airtime shortly.
