Nicaragua participates in Latin American outsourcing summit

Nicaragua participated in the Latin American and the Caribbean Outsourcing and Offshoring Summit, Outsource2LAC 2013, held on November 20th and 21st in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
 
MANAGUA, Nicaragua - Nov. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Nicaragua participated in the Latin American and the Caribbean Outsourcing and Offshoring Summit, Outsource2LAC 2013, held on November 20th and 21st in Buenos Aires, Argentina, represented by a Nicaraguan delegation that included PRONicaragua, the country’s official investment and export promotion agency, and the Exports and Investments Center (CEI, for its acronym in Spanish).

Additionally, successful Nicaraguan companies also participated in the event with the objective of meeting with potential clients and establish key contacts to enhance their growth. Among them were Slick Developers, Guegue Cia Ltda, and Connect International.

With the attendance of almost 300 regional and international companies and 28 trade and investment promotion agencies, Outsource2LAC constituted a unique scenario to meet, network and engage with potential clients and trading partners. PRONicaragua established contact with over 12 companies, varying from ITO, BPO and animation, interested in learning about the investment opportunities offered in Nicaragua.

The event also represented an opportunity to listen some of the most influential industry professionals talk about the future of Latin America and the Caribbean and the reshoring phenomenon, upgrading in the global services value chain, the Micro-Multinationals and the global market, creating a collaborative outsourcing model to enhance human capital development and ITO in the world of Mobile Devices, among other important topics.

Outsource2LAC is the most popular and influential outsourcing summit of the region, since it provides an extraordinary opportunity for service buyers and suppliers to learn about current trends in the global outsourcing industry and identify business opportunities. It has been held since 2011, first in Montevideo, Uruguay; last year in Medellin, Colombia; and this year in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This event was organized by the Integration and Trade Sector of the Inter-American Development Bank, the Argentinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, and Fundacion Exportar.
