Geni-Tec System Named Winner at Elektra Awards 2013

REDHILL, U.K. - Nov. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Bytec Medical’s Geni-Tec Intelligent Battery System (http://www.bytec.co.uk/product/healthcare/geni-tec-power-solution/) was crowned the winner of the Power System Product of the Year award at the Elektra Awards last night, with the awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House in London.

With 34 entrants in the category, Bytec Medical was shortlisted as one of six finalists.  A panel of independent judges reviewed each entry and winners were announced during the awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House in London on 27 November. Presented by Electronics Weekly magazine, the Elektra Awards (http://www.electronicsweekly.com/news/business/elektra-awards-2013-the-finalists-2013-09/) recognise the achievements of individuals and companies in the electronics industry across Europe.

The Geni-Tec Intelligent Battery System is a versatile and user-friendly, hot-swap capable battery system developed to power medical devices, from simple displays to life-saving equipment. The judging panel found Geni-Tec to be "a practical medical product, but it was the meticulous quality of the design which was most impressive."

Geni-Tec is compatible with medical carts and can also be used as a standalone power system with other medical devices; the system may also be integrated into customers’ own equipment.  The Geni-Tec Intelligent Battery System is available now from Bytec Medical.
