The Company has taken over sole distributorship of a wide range of hardware and software solutions manufactured by Kaba AG, Switzerland, to the Southern African market.

Kaba AG’s is committed to its strategy of driving international business development and its chief objective to be global.

In addition to SAP HCM business and HR growth, other market drivers strengthening South and Southern Africa’s sizeable HR space include the increased need for sophisticated time management solutions.

From a Kaba point of view IT penetration and increasingly well developed infrastructure, as well as demand within security and access control for solutions, are market drivers.

“Payroll and time management has to be carefully regulated and continue to represent priorities for companies. SAP is well established in South Africa. We have made – and continue to make global HR a central philosophy,” adds Riccio.

In terms of the application of technology to enhance the HR component’s impact to the bottom line in domestic business, Guenter Nerlich, Managing Director, AWM360 Data Systems, advises that it is important to clearly define HR processes, that which is ready for integration into the IT system.

“In order to build these processes into a system-based or IT-based solution, stick to standard situations and refrain from excessive customisation,” says Nerlich. “Stick to your guns …that is how you bring the best value out of the technical systems. You must have a technology based solution which can handle all of this variety and requirements.
