The Friendship Network for Children Joins National #GivingTuesday Movement To Encourage GivingAutism Advocacy Group Giving to the Community Asks for Support
The Friendship Network for Children is participating by using social media to promote free “Art for Autism: Aware and Share" interactive workshops. "Aware and Share" workshops raise autism awareness and acceptance. Participants watch a heart-felt live presentation created by Student-to-Student Autism Connection members who use the arts to express their personal experiences with autism. Workshop attendees are then guided to use art activities to express their responses to the presentation and are given an opportunity to share their experiences. No special art abilities are needed.
