Experience the new ICEconcert hall in Luleå with Sunvil Discovery

Nov. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Luleå, in the frozen north of Sweden, is building its first ICEconcert hall, due to open on 28 December. Styled on a giant igloo, the stunning crystal grotto will seat around 160 music lovers and, each weekend throughout the season, host performances by an ICEorchestra that glows and pulsates in rainbow hues. All the instruments, from the double-bass to the pan flute, are being hand-crafted in ice.

Scandinavia specialist Sunvil Discovery has created a three-night Ice Experiences break, including a concert ticket, to enjoy the magic of Ice Music and celebrate the wondrous wintry landscapes of Swedish Lapland’s islands and pack-ice, with two ice-themed excursions. Travel through the frozen ice fields on an ice breaker (one hour approx), take a bracing dip in the freezing waters - optional and a survival suit is provided! - and enjoy a snowmobile tour on the pack-ice in the awe-inspiring Bay of Bothnia.
