ELGIN, Ill. - Nov. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- St. Meyer & Hubbard (www.stmeyerandhubbard.com) has announced the hiring of Michael Williams as a Senior Consultant to serve the training and coaching needs of its financial services clients.

Michael Williams has been CEO, Division President, Head of Mortgage and Training Manager during his 20-plus year banking career. He began his career at Household International and Household Bank, which was purchased by Harris Bank in 1996; Michael was then given oversight for the 28 bank charters and 140 branches at Harris.

In 2000, Williams launched a seven-year career with Charter One Bank. He began as Division President in Detroit where he was responsible for 1,577 employees in three states and directly accountable for 188 retail branches, mortgage production and operations, community lending and development, business banking production and HR management. Here he successfully opened the State of Indiana on a de novo basis and helped grow the franchise to 54 locations by September 2004. Michael was named Senior Vice President/Director of Mortgage in 2007, becoming responsible for 450 Loan Originators in 14 states and for 22 operations and underwriting centers. He also had direct accountability for production, CRA, compliance and profitability in eight states within the Citizens Bank and Charter One retail branch footprint in six states.

In 2010, Williams was named Chief Operating Officer and Chief Credit Officer of Millennium Bank in Edwards, Colorado, and became Executive Vice President when the bank was purchased by Centennial Bank in 2012.

Michael is also an adjunct professor at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs where he instructs in the Business and Mathematics Divisions. Michael earned a B.A. from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, and an MBA from Lewis University in Joliet, Illinois.
