HERS Breast Cancer Foundation Welcomes New Board Chair and Treasurer

 
FREMONT, Calif. - Nov. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- HERS Breast Cancer Foundation (http://hersbreastcancerfoundation.org/) (HBCF), a professional accredited organization that supports breast cancer survivors by providing post-surgical products and services regardless of financial status, is proud to announce new officers on its Board of Directors.

After five years of dedication and strategic planning at HERS Breast Cancer Foundation, Ms. Elizabeth Barron has made the decision to step down as board chair. She was a true leader and will be greatly missed. Ms. Michelle Stewardson is stepping away from the treasurer position. She has been with HBCF for over 10 years and has significantly impacted the organization’s growth. To fill these positions, HERS Breast Cancer Foundation welcomed a new board chair and treasurer to the organization in August.

The new members of HERS Breast Cancer Foundation’s Board of Directors include:

Michael Engle, Board Chair, servesasthe Senior Director of Ambulatory Care Services at Washington Hospital Healthcare System. He oversaw the operations of Washington Urgent Care, Washington Outpatient Rehabilitation, Washington Radiation Oncology Center, Washington on Wheels, Ohlone College’s Student Health Center, Washington’s Medical Billing Unit, Medical Property Management, and Kidango.Prior to Washington Hospital, he held positions with Cogent Healthcare, Team Health, and Sutter Health’s East Bay MSO as Chief Operating Officer.Mr. Engle earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Hiram College, in Hiram, Ohio and a Master’s in Business Administration from John Carroll University, in University Heights, Ohio.

Anurag Aggarwal, Treasurer, is a finance manager at one of the biggest networking equipment companies in the Bay Area. He has over 12 years of diverse experience in many Fortune 200 companies, working across multiple functions of organizations Finance, IT, Project Management and Operations. Mr. Aggarwal earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from MNIT in Allahabad, India and is PMP certified from the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is currently pursuing his MBA at UC Berkeley.  In his free time, Mr. Aggarwal enjoys hiking, running, traveling and trying new cuisines.

Comprised of eight members, HERS Breast Cancer Foundation pays special thanks to ongoing members: Amy O’Callaghan, Sheila Reid, Sharon Almeida, Munmun Baishya, Belinda Hernandez, and Aquila Hussain. HBCF also wants to thank Ms. Elizabeth Barron and Ms. Michelle Stewardson for their years of dedication and commitment to the organization.
