Karreuche Drops in on Chicago Artists Charity Event

CHICAGO - Nov. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Sunday November 24th Chicago's "Bop King" Lil Kemo & rapper Dreezy joined forces with Love & Loyalty and IC Autospa to have a #HashTagLunchBag event, in an effort to feed those in need.  The event was held at Fashionable Addictions a boutique on the west side of Chicago. Volunteers came out and assembled lunch bags filled with sandwiches, cookies, apples, and bottled waters. The lunch bags were also adorned with heartfelt messages. The crowd favorite was a bag signed by Karreuche ... "Smile" with a heart.

Due to the heightened awareness brought on by the celebrities, the event was attended by a plethora of nationalities who came out to support. Also involved were west side teens encouraged to help by the MTE promotional team, who offered  volunteers discounted tickets to their up and coming Bop-A-Thon concert, that Lil Kemo and Dreezy will perform at.

Thanks to participants pictures of the lunch bags being distributed to a women's shelter on the westside, homeless people on the exspressways and ofcourse Karreuche who elected to also purchase gloves to combat what she described as brutal weather, the efforts of those involved were a success. According to their website #HashTagLunchBag is a movement dedicated to utilizing social media to bring awareness & eliminate hunger needs in local communities. All who participated hope that their involvement will encourage others to host events of their own in Chicago and all over the world.
