Sixty-nine (69%) of students in special education did not receive a high school diploma, as of 2010, , leaving them no honest alternative for employment. They are unable to secure a minimum wage jobs without a high school diploma. Professor McCarthy of University of California-Davis sums it up best, “it's simply adverse circumstances -- a tight job market, a lack of education -- that leads young people into crime.” Economic problems need economic solutions. Professor Jeff Brice, Jr. of Hofstra University, “A drug dealer is really an entrepreneur who is simply selling the wrong products.” If Black men had an opportunity to create legal inventions and products to combine with their entrepreneurial talents, they would create LEGAL businesses.
