Project Runway® Designers come together for a new handmade design contest website!

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Nov. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Three of the most notable and recognizable Project Runway® Designers have been recruited to be celebrity judges for a new handmade jewelry and accessories design contest website, And the Design Winner is…

Jay McCarroll, the dynamic Winner of Project Runway® Season 1, Peach Carr, “country club chic” designer from Project Runway® Season 8 and Project Runway All*Stars® Season 2 and unforgettable personality Stephen “Suede” Baum from Project Runway® Season 5, and Project Runway All*Stars® Season 2 have become the anchors of a celebrity judging panel which also includes professional NY stylists Kara Kaufman, Jennifer Ghelardini and Emmy Award® winning costume designer Wendy Benbrook. The panel will pick from thousands of handmade jewelry and accessories designs to crown a $1500 Grand Prize Winner each month!

With the goal of recognizing, celebrating  and encouraging those who make and sell handmade jewelry and accessories, And the Design Winner is… is unique in the contest website arena as it not only offers cash prizes for contest winners, but offers links to the online site or store where the contestant’s designs are sold for each and every photo entry. In addition to their products being showcased right on the site, And the Design Winner is… offers handmade designers the opportunity to drive customers to their sites or stores and increase their sales.
