Young Professionals Network & Raise Nearly $5,000 For Big Brothers Big Sisters at Annual Fall Fest

Nov. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- DALLAS-- November 22, 2013-- Dallas’ young professionals community recently came together on Nov. 13 for the fifth annual Fall Fest. This year’s networking event benefited Big Brothers Big Sisters (http://www.bbbstx.org/) (BBBS), a donor-supported volunteer youth mentoring organization that has been placing caring adults in the lives of children in one-to-one mentoring relationships since 1927.

A diverse group of more than 350 young professionals gathered at The Room on Main and enjoyed drinks and dancing while browsing among numerous donated items raffled off at this year’s event. At the end of the night, the annual networking event raised $4,750 for BBBS.  The Fall Fest co-chairs include Dave Wishnew, Tara Worthey, Chase Lewis and Andy Jenkins.

"It is fun and gratifying to bring multiple young professional groups together to network while raising money for a worthwhile cause,” said Wishnew. “We look forward to watching this event grow each year and connecting business leaders who are committed to the development of Dallas.”

Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC) Young Professionals, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Dallas Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Society Young Professionals Group, The French American Chamber of Commerce and Melrose Society hosted this year’s event.
