Go Santa Go 5k comes to Chicago

CHICAGO - Nov. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- NR Road Racing will hold Go Santa Go 5k in Chicago on December 1, 2013 at 9:00 AM to benefit Starlights Children’s Foundation. The event will be held at Soldiers Field, 1410 Museum Campus Dr, Chicago, IL 60605. Race registration is $40 for individuals. All ages are welcome, however, you must register anyone six and older. And we encourage those who don’t run, to volunteer!

Be part of a new holiday tradition! Every participant will receive their choice of a Santa shirt, hat and beard or an elf shirt and hat to wear while running.  Enjoy holiday music, candy, and cookies along the course. Spread the holiday joy by bringing a $10 unopened, unwrapped child’s toy, that will be donated to a local Toys for Tots for the holidays.  Participating in Go Santa Go is a great way to get into the holiday spirit as we serve Starlights Children’s Foundation and remind everyone that you can still be active & healthy during the holiday season. Join our gaggle, herd, flock, mob, swarm of red & green runners as we hit the streets and celebrate the season!

Road Runner Sports will be the exclusive Chicago area location for the 2013 Go Santa Go 5k packet pickup.  Packet pickup will be staffed by NR Road Racing staff and/or volunteers Saturday, Nov 30, 2013 from 10 AM – 6 PM. Road Runner Sports is located at Kingsbury Center, 1435 North Kingsbury St.Chicago, IL, 60642.
