SOCIOO the artist and latin music producer in Hollywood, launches his newest video "Only Me" in BBC

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- (ALEGRIA MAGAZINE) - A singer, composer and producer who was born in Caracas, Venezuela - SOCIOO has managed through his music to position himself as one of the strongest young Latin artists within the Latin music industry. This is due not only to his musical abilities; which have earned him recognition in prestigious national festivals such as the International Music Festival for New Bands in Urban, Pop and Rock; but also for his spirit of perseverance, discipline and undeniable charisma.

In the International Music Festival for New Bands in Urban, Pop and Rock, SOCIOO was invited to participate in tours with diverse groups, performing different musical genres, such as Salsa, Merengue, Reggae, Blues and Rock. There, he also opened several shows with his former band “Mean While” for “Los Amigos Invisibles” (a Grammy-winning band whose style is a blend of disco, acid jazz, funk and Latin rhythms).

After making his home in Hollywood, California, SOCIOO was invited to share the stage and open shows for Pitbull, Calle 13, Zion and other artists. This experience and the exploration of different rhythms has been SOCIOO’s principal basis in establishing his own style within the music industry; a style which he calls “Electro Urbano” (a fusion of Electronic Music with Reggae, Hip Hop, Salsa, Merengue and Bachata).

SOCIOO produced and recorded his first album, “Quien Dijo Que No,” with the five-time Grammy winner Kenny O’Brien, who has been a producer for artists such as Barbra Streisand, Christina Aguilera, Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, Alejandro Sanz and Enrique Iglesias.

His previous video,"My Dream Girl" (La Mujer de mis Sueños) (directed by Carlos Hurtado) garnered fourteen nominations in INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVALS and won eight awards. Also was the winner of the Award of Excellence in the Vancouver, Canada International Film Festival, winner of the Golden Ace Award in the Las Vegas International Film Festival and the winner of the Silver Lei Award in Honolulu Film Festival. He was the winner of the Best Hip Hop Music Video in the World Music and Independent Film Festival in Washington D.C. He also won an Honorable Mention at the Los Angeles International Movie Awards Film Festival and at the New York International Film Festival.

Currently, SOCIOO just launched his new video " Solo Yo" / "Only Me"  for which he won, along with director Carlos Hurtado, the distinguished Gold Award at Cinerockom International Film Festival. This festival was held  at the Hilton Beverly Hills Hotel. He also won Best Music Video at the New York – Los Angeles International Film Festival, as well The Platinum Award at the Nevada International Film Fest. This last production, in collaboration with director Carlos Hurtado, achieved the selection by "BBC Music Video Festival 2013" (National TV BBC British Broadcasting Corporation) as one of the best emerging talents in film and musical acts in the world of music video production.  Socioo was also the only Latin American Independent artist selected for this Festival 2013.  The video has aired on national television in United Kingdom, England and Holland, including digital screens these countries.

Without a doubt, SOCIOO continues to position himself with a firm foothold within the music industry with a fansbase who continue to follow him through his social networks and his YouTube channel. SOCIOO is undeniably an unstoppable talent who will continue to conquer the musical world with his fresh energy and talent.
