PODS®, Los Angeles Clippers Spirit Team, TOYS“R”US Hold “Toys For Tots” Donation Drive

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- PODS^® of Los Angeles, the Clipper Spirit dance team and Toys R Us will hold a one-day donation drive for the US Marine Corp’s Toys for Tots Program. The moving and storage company, along with the Clipper Spirit dance team, Toys “R” Us Torrance and KFWB-AM radio, is holding the event to help bring holiday joy to needy children in the Los Angeles area. A PODS container will collect the donated toys for the drive—it is one of more than 800 containers being used in Toys for Tots drives nationwide.

The Toys for Tots drive helps children in need experience the joy of Christmas, nurtures the development of children, unites community members and contributes to the betterment of those communities. In the 65 years since the Toys for Tots program began, the Marines have distributed more than 469 million toys to more than 216 million underprivileged children.
