Power Ten, Inc. Names Mick Rovenstine New VP

POWAY, Calif. - Nov. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- The Power Ten, Inc. Board of Directors has appointed Mick Rovenstine to a new position as Vice President of Operations to provide leadership for the long-term growth and diversification of the company. Rovenstine’s position is focused on forming partnerships, generating revenue, and increasing the overall value of the business.

Along with overseeing the business development efforts for Power Ten, Rovenstine will be working to ensure that the team is equipped with all the tools needed to succeed. “We are a company with a flat management structure and a distributed workforce.  Our challenge is to provide each team member with the resources needed to work independently and confidently with just enough oversight to ensure we are working efficiently and that our resources are prioritized effectively,” said Rovenstine.

”Mick and I have worked closely together since day one,” says Power Ten President and CEO Russ Emons.  “This appointment to the VP position really just formalizes the role Mick has been performing all year, which is providing leadership in the BD and partnership development roles.  He has already earned the respect and credibility, so it is great to see him carry the title as well.”

Additionally, Rovenstine will work closely with partner companies to ensure common goals are being met. According to Rovenstine, shared success for both Power Ten and their partners will be an area of particular focus in his new position.

Rovenstine has been with Power Ten, Inc. since its inception and has had a valuable impact on the company. Rovenstine has most previously served as Director of Emerging Technology.  He has over twenty-six years of experience in aviation, operations analysis, and test & evaluation. As an active duty Marine, Rovenstine combined tours of operational flying in CH-46E transport helicopters with tours as an operations analyst. Rovenstine is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and the Naval Postgraduate School attaining a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Operations Research, respectively.
