ESCAZÚ, Costa Rica - Nov. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- San Jose, Costa Rica – November 21, 2013 – As NFL players rack up the fines for penalties, sports bettors at one online sportsbook are getting ready to cash in.

Leading online sportsbook SportsBettingOnline.ag today announce a prop bet for total fines in Week 12 of NFL play, plus a number of other fine-related prop bets.

"The NFL has become really conscious of injuries, so we’re seeing the league hand out more fines, more frequently,” stated Dave Johnson, head odds maker at http://www.sportsbettingonline.ag. “We thought it would be great to let sports bettors cash in on player fines, so we’ve put together some solid odds related to NFL players losing pieces of their salary.”

The sportsbook is letting players bet on the total fines in Week 12 of the NFL, with odds listed as follows:

$0 to $100,000 fines • +160 • bet $100 to win $160

$100,001 to $125,000 fines • +140 • bet $100 to win $140

$125,001 to $150,000 fines • +120 • bet $100 to win $120

$150,001 to $175,000 fines • +100 • bet $100 to win $100

$175,001 to $200,000 fines • +120 • bet $100 to win $120

$200,001 to $225,000 fines • +140 • bet $100 to win $140

$225,001+ fines • +160 • bet $100 to win $160

It’s not just the total value of fines that players can bet on. Other fine-related prop bets include:

- Will there be an excessive 'CELEBRATION' fine in week 12?

Yes +10 to 1 • bet $100 to win $1,000

- Will there be a 'PHYSICAL CONTACT with OFFICIAL' fine in week 12?

Yes +10 to 1 • bet $100 to win $1,000

- Will there be a 'FOOTBALL INTO STANDS' fine in week 12?

Yes +10 to 1 • bet $100 to win $1,000

Johnson notes that the league has become more conscious of keeping players safe, and handing out fines is a smart approach to reducing the number of injuries. But sports bettors aren’t so sure it’s working.

Last week, Atlanta safety William Moore and Miami linebacker Philip Wheeler were fined more than $20,000 apiece for illegal hits over the weekend. Moore’s paycheck was docked over $22,000 for hitting Seattle wide receiver Golden Tate in the head and neck area. That was actually the fourth time this season that Moore has been fined. Wheeler was smaked with a $21,000 fine for hitting Tampa Bay QB Mike Glennon in the head and neck area last Monday night.

How many fines and what type will be handed out this week is anyone’s guess. Sports fans can get their picks in now at SportsBettingOnline.ag and qualify for either 10% cash back on all bets, win or lose, no rollovers, or choose a 50% bonus on all cash deposits up to $500.
