Raleigh’s Wake Christian Academy Moves into New Athletic Park Built by Bobbitt

RALEIGH, N.C. - Nov. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Bobbitt Design Build recently completed Wake Christian Academy Athletic Practice Facility Complex (http://www.wakechristianacademy.com/). The five-acre athletic practice fields and facilities are located on Wake Academy Drive in Raleigh, N.C.

Bobbitt was selected to design and manage the project due to the relationship the company built with Wake Christian Academy (WCA) during the reconstruction of WCA’s elementary school and consultations on the campus’ master planning.

The new athletic complex will allow multiple teams to practice simultaneously, eliminate the need for students to be transported off campus for practice during the fall and spring seasons, and enable students to complete practice earlier in the afternoon, leaving more time for studies and work. Also, the multi-use facility will improve the overall coaching experience for all student athletes. With more space, coaches will be able to expand drills and instruction and provide space for the entire WCA community to gather for special outdoor activities, including field days, class picnics, kite day and colonial day.
